to the village as
names - for the village include
Butrewich, Buttirwic, Buterewic, Boterwic, Buterwic, Butterwyck,
name - can be translated to 'dairy farm where butter is
made'. West in relation to East Butterwick on the opposite side
of the Trent Bank.
