The Angel

The Angel was a Coaching Inn in the 18th century & was of great importance as far back as Oliver Cromwell.

The River Ancholme & The Ancholme Valley
The River Ancholme offers some of the best fishing in England. It is also attracts birds & wildlife which makes it great for for birdwatching. The River Ancholme offers a number of mooring locations along its length for boats so people can enjoy a trip by up the slow flowing river through the Ancholme Valley. There are also many Riverside walks which pass many of the quaint bridges that span the River.

The Historic Market Market Town of Brigg has it's own unique character. There is a Market held in the market place and along the pedestrianised town centre on Thursdays & Saturdays.
